Peer Sexual Health Educators are highly trained to provide positive, inclusive and empowering information about sexual health through individualized, one-on-one information sessions as well as interactive, group-based educational programs and outreach events.
One-on-One Informational Sessions
Peer Sexual Health Educators also provide free, confidential, one-on-one information sessions for students interested in learning more about sex and sexual health. More information about this service, including how to schedule a session, can be found on our Sexual Health Information Session page.
Prevention and Wellness Services offers interactive and fun educational workshops led by Peer Sexual Health Educators that promote healthy sexuality and can be provided to residence halls and other student groups/clubs on and off campus.
Cookies and Condoms
This 1-hour presentation aims to motivate students to practice safe sex and access sexual health resources available to them on campus. It covers basic STI information, safe sex practices, correct condom use and tips for talking with partners about sex and protection. Free cookies and condoms are provided!
Hot and Ready
This 1.5-hour presentation aims to help students develop greater awareness of their own responses to attraction and their preferences/boundaries related to sex, as well as increased practical skills for consent-based sexual relationships. It covers sexual attraction and desire, personal boundaries, and tips for navigating issues of consent and pleasure with intimate partners. When possible, free Hot & Ready pizzas are provided as well.
Peer Sexual Health Educators can also be available to provide presentations on other related sexual health topics and to participate in campus tabling events upon request. For more information or to request an outreach program, please submit a program request form.
