Sexual Violence Prevention Training for Athletes

Sexual Violence Prevention Training for Student Athletes

CASAS staff in Prevention and Wellness Services provide sexual violence prevention training for all student athletes in order to promote a healthy and safe culture at Western; fulfill the vision, mission, and goals of the University; and support the University’s compliance with NCAA policy and Title IX requirements.

Our in-person, interactive training workshops, co-led by CASAS Coordinator Deidre Evans and trained CASAS Peer Advocates augment the required online sexual violence prevention training for varsity student athletes and athletic staff. The trainings are also available to club sports and intramural teams.
