National College Health Assessment at Western

Every two years, Western participates in the American College Health Association's National College Health Assessment, a nationally recognized research survey that collects data on college student health status, behaviors, and beliefs on a wide range of topics:

  • Alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use
  • Sexual health
  • Weight, nutrition, and exercise
  • Mental health
  • Personal safety and violence

Participate in the NCHA!

The 2018 administration of the NCHA survey launched on May 14 and will run through June 1. If you are one of the 4,000 Western students we randomly selected to participate this year, we encourage you to log on and take the survey, which takes about 20-30 minutes. Participants will be entered into a drawing for one of ten $50 gift certificates to Western's Associated Students Bookstore! Your responses help Prevention and Wellness Services improve the health and wellness services we provide.
